Kentucky is currently transitioning to a new assessment and accountability system for schools and districts. The new system is expected to be fully implemented in the 2019-2020 school year. Consequently, as the state transitions to a new system, the data released for public reporting in 2017 will not include overall accountability scores or classifications. This year’s scores will include data on the following components: achievement, gap, growth, college-and-career readiness and graduation rate. The state utilizes the School Report Card on the Kentucky Department of Education website to report the results.
