Overview of the Reading Strategies Project

content areas, grades 6-10. The Kentucky Department of Education and KET developed this training
with the goal of improving reading comprehension among middle and high school students in Kentucky.
These materials are intended to be used by trained facilitators working with individuals or small
groups of teachers.
